She is a proud second-generation Rotarian and has been with the Rotary Club of Ormoc since 2005—celebrating 20 years of service this year. Over the years, she has worn many Rotary hats, the most notable as District Governor of District 3860 in 2021–22 under the theme “Serve to Change Lives.”
During her term, District 3860 topped the nation in Rotary Foundation giving, achieved record membership growth after the pandemic, and earned multiple Public Image awards in Zone 10A. Beyond the district, she has served in Zone leadership roles, including Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator and Chair of the Philippine College of Rotary Governors. Today, she continues her journey as Zone 10A Rotary Membership Coordinator, championing not just numbers, but meaningful engagement and lasting connections.
Outside Rotary, she balances life as a school director, wife, and mother—all fueling her passion to give her best in every role.

Mary Jayne Desmond was born and raised in the Philippines, where she became fluent in Filipino. She currently serves as a Club Experience Officer at the Rotary International South Pacific & Philippines Office in Sydney, New South Wales. With nearly 19 years of dedicated service to Rotary International, Mary Jayne brings deep experience and a strong commitment to supporting Rotary members and strengthening the organisation’s impact across communities worldwide.
Rotary Club of Marikina North, RI-D3800
Past District Governor (PDG) Anthony “Tonipi” N. Paruñgao served as the Transforming Governor of R.I. District 3800 in RY 2020-2021 during the height of the pandemic.
He became a Rotarian in July 1993 at the age of 31 (classification: Business Law Practice), and served as President of the Rotary Club of Marikina North in 1999.
Formerly Undersecretary for Legal Affairs of the Department of Agrarian Reform, he was also its official spokesman, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Land Bank of the Philippines. He was over-all in charge of the implementation of the Supreme Court’s decision in the Hacienda Luisita case.
Tonipi, as he is fondly called by friends and colleagues, is a lawyer by profession, and is a Partner of the Santos Parungao Aquino & Santos Law Offices, which he co-founded in 1994.
PDG Tonipi finished his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in U.P. Diliman, where he also earned his law degree. Through the years, he has held various positions in several socio-civic and professional organizations in the club, city, and district levels, including the Rizal Chapter of the Philippine Red Cross where he is currently a Director and Board Secretary.
In Rotary, PDG Tonipi is a Second Level Major Donor, Paul Harris Society member, and a charter member of the Polio Plus Society. He is currently the District Governor’s Representative to the Philippine Rotary Magazine (DGR-PRM). He has consistently served his district and Philippine Rotary in various important capacities (the latest of which was as Assistant Regional Public Image Coordinator (or ARPIC) of R.I. Zone 10A from 2021-2024, Board Secretary of the PCRG in RY 2022-2023, and as Assistant Learning Facilitator of District 3800 in RY 2023-2024). He has received various awards and recognition at the club and district levels, including the Hall of Fame award from his club in 2006.
He is married to Lana Braganza-Paruñgao, with whom he has three daughters dubbed the Tres Marias. They also have one grandson named Pascal, making PDG Tonipi a brand-new “super lolo”. In his spare time, he runs almost-daily, watches K-Dramas, and reads books.

He is a man who exemplifies leadership not only in Rotary but also in the business world. A successful entrepreneur, in the business of property leasing and hotel operations based in Davao City. His professional journey is a testament to vision, hard work and excellence.
In Rotary, his inspirational and innovative leadership made a profound impact. A member of the Rotary Club of East Davao and served as its club President in RY 2005-06. He served as District Governor of RI District 3860 in Rotary Year 2020-2021, guiding clubs with wisdom and energy during a time of global challenge. He found his niche thru The Rotary Foundation and making it possible for his district excel in TRF Fund Raising and Grants programs. He is a Major Donor Level 2, a member of the Paul Harris Society, a Benefactor and a recipient of The Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service Award in RY 2015- 2016. Today he continues to serve in a bigger role as a current
Regional Officer of The Rotary Foundation, by helping districts across the entire country to unlock the full potential of The Rotary Foundation and its life changing programs.

A dynamic leader celebrated for her competence, wisdom, empathy, and powerful communication skills, she made history as the First Lady Governor of Rotary International District 3780 during Rotary Year 2009-2010, standing among the few women governors worldwide at the time. After earning a BA in Communication Arts from Maryknoll College and establishing a successful career in insurance and real estate, she joined Rotary in 1994. Her dedication quickly set her apart; she became a two-time Most Outstanding Club President and broke barriers as the first woman to serve as Assistant Governor and District Secretary in D3780.
Throughout her Rotary journey, she has held key leadership roles—including District Rotary Foundation Chair, District Coordinator, and District Trainer—and earned international acclaim, such as the Membership Recognition Award at the 2010 RI Convention in Montreal. As a Paul Harris Fellow Major Donor (Level 2), her unwavering commitment has been recognized with multiple prestigious accolades, including the TRF Meritorious Service Award and the RI Four Avenues of Service Citation.
Today, she continues to drive impact as a Council on Legislation Representative, Empowering Girls Coordinator, and Rotary Friendship Exchange Chair. Beyond her extensive service, she shares a fulfilling family life with her husband, David C. Coyukiat, CEO of Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corp., with whom she is blessed with three accomplished children and five grandchildren.

PDG NESTOR “CHITO” BORROMEO, born in the town of Molo, Iloilo. He was District Governor of District 3780 for Rotary Year 2017-18 (Great Governor) A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) , Masters in Business Administration at the Ateneo De Manila University Graduate School of Business (Degree Candidate) and graduate in Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting at San Sebastián College. He was a First Quarter Storm era Student Leader and Chairman of the National Secretariat of the National Union of Students of the Philippines.
He was Club President of the Rotary Club of New Manila East in RY 2006-2007. He was chosen Most Outstanding Club President and His Club as the Most Outstanding Rotary Club. He was the Most Outstanding Governor Assistant Governor(AG) in RY 2008 -2009 . We was awarded The Outstanding Rotarian of the Year ( 2012-13). He is a Major Donor and a member of the Paul Harris Society .
He Held positions in the Club and District practically in all Avenues of Service and is part of the District Training Team. He was Team Leader of the Group Study Exchange(GSE) to Arkansas, USA in RY 2007-08. He held major positions in the District as Deputy District Governor in RY 2014-15 and Three times Lieutenant Governor.
He is a Paul Harris Vocational Excellence Awardee( Golden Wheel) , and was awarded the Highest Rotary International Award for Vocational Excellence by Past RI President Sakuji Tanaka.
He is happily married to Maria Nona Vierich Baula, who is also a Certified Public Accountant, with 6 Admirable and talented children and studied in UP and Ateneo. God is always at the center of the lives of the Borromeo family . They are active parishioners in Santa Maria Della Strada Church, and Chito serves as a Minister of the Holy Eucharist

Domilo “MILO” Lucenario serves as the 2024–2025 District Governor and Servant Leader for Rotary International District 3780, the only one-city, one-Rotary district in the world encompassing Quezon City, Philippines. Affectionately known as “Magical Governor Milo,” he is celebrated for his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to Rotary’s ideals.
DG Milo is a distinguished member of the Rotary Club of Balintawak and a Rotarian since 2001, where his commitment to service has been a driving force in numerous club and district initiatives. He has taken on various roles over the years in his club and the district as Zone Institute Promotions Chair, Club Trainers Committee Chair, Sports Golf Committee Chair, Assistant Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Deputy District Secretary, and Membership Vice-Chair—always stepping up where he’s needed.
He served as First Class President in Rotary Year 2013–2014 and has remained an active leader since, participating in training, mentorship, and service activities.
He has played a vital role in organizing and leading past district events like District Inductions, District Training Assembly (DISTAS), Midyear Review and Conference (MIDCON), DISCON Golf, District Awards, Rotary Family Day, District Team Training Seminar (DTTS), and other district training seminars. He’s also a faculty member of the district’s Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) and the Rotary Center Foundation Inc. – Center for Leadership.
He was Sub-Committee Chair in Program Monitoring for the 2019 Manila Zone Institute and Co-Chair/Tournament Director of the 8th Philippine Rotary Open Golf Tournament in 2019, with proceeds benefiting the Philippine Rotary Magazine (PRM).
Leading by example in TRF giving for D3780 in Rotary Year 2024–2025, he is a Paul Harris Society member, new Major Donor Level 2, Bequest Society member, PolioPlus Society member, and Benefactor, with a gift to Rotary Endowment named the Engr. Darren Xavier “Dax” Lucenario Rotary Endowment Fund.
This particular commitment is deeply personal and inspired by his late son Dax, whose memory motivates him to continue giving to TRF and to create a lasting legacy in his honor.
Outside of Rotary, DG Milo wears many hats. With a background in Chemistry with Masteral units, Medicine, and Real Estate Management, he has built a career in bid tender consulting, contracts management, compliances, and quality management systems. He’s the kind of person who makes sure everything is organized, efficient, and done with excellence—whether at work or in Rotary service.
At the core of everything he does is his family. He is married to Spouse Ann, and together they’ve raised a loving and close-knit family. Their children—Danielle Xamantha (“Xam”), a senior AB English student at San Beda University; Xedric Ximon Xander (“Ximon”); and Xara Xylina Xandra (“Xandi”), both junior high students at UST Angelicum College—are his biggest supporters.
And though Dax, a Civil Engineer, is no longer physically with them, his presence and inspiration remain deeply felt in everything DG Milo does.

Life-Changing Governor Edgardo “Ed” Ayento joined the Rotary Club of New Manila East during Rotary Year 2002–2003 and eventually served as its Club President in RY 2011–2012 under the theme “Reach Within to Embrace Humanity.” Since then, he has held various positions and chairmanships in committees within RI District 3780.
He is a multi-awarded Rotarian both at the club and district levels. He was awarded Most Outstanding Rotarian of his club, RC New Manila East, for RY 2005–2006; Most Outstanding Club President in RY 2011–2012; Most Outstanding Lieutenant Governor in RY 2016–2017; and was one of The Outstanding Rotarians of the Year (TORY) for Rotary Years 2017–2018, 2018–2019, and 2019–2020 consecutively.
He graduated from Far Eastern University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is a Registered Electrical Engineer by profession. He is currently the President and CEO of ENA Power Builders, Inc., an electrical contracting company.
He is married to Maria Eleanor “Peachy” Ayento. They are blessed with three children: Dr. Ma. Luisa Therese, married to Dr. Manuel Kelvin Torres, together with their child Sebastian Isaac; Architect Carlos Miguel; and Andrei Miguel, currently in his 4th year taking up BS in Architecture.
