PETS (President-Elect Training Seminar) is a Rotary International-mandated training program designed to equip incoming club presidents with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to lead their clubs effectively. It provides comprehensive guidance on Rotary policies, goals, and best practices, covering key areas such as club administration, membership growth, service projects, public image, and the Rotary Foundation. PETS also emphasizes leadership development, strategic planning, and collaboration, allowing president-elects to network with peers and learn from experienced district leaders and past governors. Held several months before the new Rotary year, this RI-mandated seminar ensures that future club presidents are fully prepared to “hit the ground running” and create meaningful impact in their clubs and communities.
